Getting to J World

Newport
Newport is served by air via Providence's TF Green Airport. All major carriers including Southwest serve Providence. There are convenient shuttles from the airport to downtown Newport. By car, Newport is 30 minutes from Providence Airport, 90 minutes from Boston and 3 1/2 hours from New York. There is a van shuttle that runs between TF Green and Newport every hour operated by Cozy Cab. The cost is $17 each way and their number is 800-846-1502.

If driving to Newport: From points south (New York/Connecticut) take 95N to exit 3B (Rte 138E). Follow 138E and signs for the Newport Bridge. After crossing the Newport Bridge take the first exit marked Scenic Newport and take a right at the ramp bottom. At the 2nd light take a right onto America's Cup Ave. Follow Americas Cup for about 1/2 mile into downtown Newport. Commercial Wharf is on the right between the Mooring Restaurant and the Newport Yachting Center. J World is at 1 Commercial Wharf.

From points north (Mass.) Follow 24S to 114. Follow 114 until it becomes Broadway as you enter Newport. Follow Broadway to the end and take a left. Stay right at the first intersection and then left at the lights onto America's Cup Ave. Go about 300 yards and Commercial Wharf is on the right between the Mooring Restaurant and the Newport Yachting Center. J World is at 1 Commercial Wharf.

If you're staying in downtown Newport a rental car will not be necessary.

Key West
All major airlines serve Key West via Miami, Orlando or Tampa. If flights into Key West are not available you can fly into Miami. Key West is a 2 1/2 hour drive from the Miami Airport. Car rentals within Florida are reasonable and one way car rentals are usually available with no mileage or drop off fees.

J World is located at the Schooner Wharf Bar and Restaurant in the heart of Old Town Key West at 202 William Street. This is where William Street meets the water. Look for the J World sign on arrival. If you are attending a Liveaboard course ONLY, please contact J World for alternative directions as these courses depart from a different location.
